Day One: Opening Statements and Glenn Beck

Do you know the difference between 'opening statements' and 'questioning'? I do. I bet you do too. Glenn Beck doesn't.

Sometimes when I watch these kinds of clips, I feel like I am in middle school again. Making drama out of absolutely nothing.

I also don't believe that the United States of America is burning to the ground. Not yet at least.

Oh and the questioning begins today.

I don't count the Irish, Italians, Swedes and Finns as other species. I am surprised that this kind of talk gets aired on a mainstream cable news channel, but I guess I'm just a bit different .

The explanation for my uniqueness may very well have something to do with a being another species from the participants in this video. I am hopeful.

GRETCHEN CARLSON: Are you sure you are not suffering from some of the causes of dementia right now?

HOSTY: The problem is the Swedes have pure genes. They marry other Swedes, that's the rule. Finns marry other Finns; they have a pure society. In America we marry everybody. We will marry Italians and Irish.

Fox News Channel Hilarity

I'm pretty sure we've seen Fox do this before. Put a 'D' after a Republican's name, when that Republican is in some kind of trouble.

When Fox doesn't like a Republican, or perhaps it is simply a case of Conservatives making a funny, they attach a 'D' to their name on their Conservative news channel.

I think after watching this video that it's safe to assume that ABC's upcoming visit to The White House is 'precedented' access.

Judith Miller: I was in jail with Zacarias Moussaoui

Former investigative reporter for The New York Times, Judith Miller was jailed because she refused to divulge her sources in the grand jury investigation of the outing of CIA agent Valerie Plame. Incidentally, she is now a commentator for Fox News Channel, and states in this segment that she was one floor away from Moussaoui.
