Barack Obama was an hour away from me last night in Northwest Indiana. I couldn't go because I had to get my beauty bus driving sleep because I have to drive an 11 ton bus this morning. I'm doing a three and one-half hour tour (one way) to Ball State University (think David Letterman) today for a vocal competition.
I will be looking for Obama-Biden yard signs along the way as I pass through some of the reddest of the red parts of the great State of Indiana on My Big Yellow School Bus.
The Peon blog will fall mostly silent today, unless of course I find an Internet cafe` at Ball State University.
I'll probably get back in late tonight, hopefully in time to see John McCain do his thing on SNL, but more importantly, Barack Obama supporter, Ben Affleck host the Saturday night funny show.
Have a great day and GOTV a little bit in your spare time.Oh yeah. I took the day off Tuesday from bus driving. I will be sitting at a polling place all day Tuesday to monitor the lines and make sure the voters are moving along and have the information they need to vote.I never in my entire life did anything like this before. Not blogging, not wearing a campaign button, not going door-to-door for anything, not calling strangers on the telephone to find out who they will vote for, not working a polling place. I also know I'm not the only one. This truly has been a historic election cycle.Have an awesome day and do a little bit if you have some time to GOTV!
Also, I wanted to mention too that you should have a stupendous day and GOTV if you have a bit of spare time on your hands.
Peace and Love,
PD
"We are four days away from changing the United States of America," Obama told voters Friday night in Indiana, one of about a half-dozen Republican states that remains up for grabs late this election season.
...Obama planned final get-out-the-vote rallies in Nevada, Colorado and Missouri for Saturday. He was scheduled to campaign in Ohio all day Sunday, including a Cleveland rally with singer Bruce
Springsteen, then hit Virginia and Florida on election eve...."We want to win everywhere," Obama said of his decision to air the commercials in his opponent's state
